Summer can't get any better! My name is Rebecca Hartsough and I'm an Emory student who believe it or not, can't wait for the school year to start again. Luckily, I'm in Atlanta with so many friends of mine who share the same feeling. We all keep each other company until we can get back on campus and start another amazing year!

To start off, how about a little info about me? I'm an incoming junior majoring in Political Science and Art History. I always expected to major in Political Science (I'm Pre-Law), but Art History was never in the plan. Emory does that to you so often. You unexpectedly take a random class with a wonderful professor, end up loving it, and then decide to minor or major in the subject. It's kind of bizarre but is one of the best decisions I've ever made! I've taken so many interesting classes here and feel like I couldn't have received a better education anywhere else.

In my opinion, Emory is the perfect size. The school's size enables your ability to thrive in the areas you love and see so many familiar faces while doing it. But you see new faces everyday too. It never gets old here!

Students love it here and continually contribute to the school, specific groups and organizations, and ultimately to the sense of community. I love walking through campus on a beautiful day (most are...ATL weather is amazing!) watching people playing frisbee on the quad, grilling out on Asbury Circle, laying out in front of their dorms, and playing music with gathering crowds around.

I have to stop now...all of these images are making me want the year to begin! Until next time...
