Summer Flies By!

Wow...I can't believe I only have around a month left of summer. But, I guess that's how it always is.

I took a walk through Lullwater and campus yesterday. It was such a beautiful day with the typically perfect Atlanta weather. Everywhere looked so wonderful. Per usual, the landscaping looked great!...Something you get used to as an Emory student. As a freshman, you become aware of the popular legend that Emory spends around a billion dollars a year on flowers. Obviously, that much is impossible, but you know it has be an insane amount. Regardless, the campus always looks amazing!

I was so surprised to see the new road around Asbury Circle and the new freshman dorm. It's nearly finished and looks basically like a palace...much congratulations to the students who get to live there. Seriously. I will be paying a visit to those dorm rooms! In a few years, all of the freshman dorms will look like that. Incredible! Emory only gets better with age!

I'm still looking forward to starting school again. That's the good thing about Emory. Students do really have a desire to come back. Whether it's because of all the fun things about college, or the people you become friends with here, and even the brilliant professors and great classes you take, Emory keeps you coming back each year wanting more.
